Position: Baker

Job Description:
We’re looking for a dedicated and independent baker to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing our morning stock of treats, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high food safety standards. You will need to work diligently with minimal supervision while prepping treats that consistently meet standards.

Hours needed:

  • Part-time: 13 hrs / week. Wednesday, 6am-9am, Friday, 6am-10am. Saturday, 6am-12pm. Days and hours can be flexible, but a 6am start is required.

Requirements:

  • Food service experience required. Must be knowledgable of food handling / food safety standards.

  • Ready to learn an absorb. Gluten-free or vegan baking background is not required. There will be thorough training.

  • An independent worker who takes initiative. Baking tasks often require focus, time management, problem-solving, and diligence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Baking and decorating treats for the morning.

  • Preparing batters, glazes, frostings according to schedule.

  • Washing your dishes. We have a nice giant sink to make things easier.

Also includes but not limited to:

  • Communicating with front-of-house team. If they get busy, you may be asked to pack an order or two.

  • Keeping an eye on what baking supplies we need.

Compensation:

  • Part-time position, $12 / hour

  • Shared % of daily tips, included in each paycheck

  • One free treat (under $7) or taco per shift. 20% employee discount on other items. 15 minute paid break for each 4 hour+ shift
